Probleme beim upgrade von mythes-de-ch in testing

Ich wollte von stable zu testing wechseln. Also sources.lst editiert und apt-get dist-upgrade gemacht.

Jemand scheint den selben Fehler gehabt zu haben. Habe aber nur das paste gefunden, aber nicht wo er gefragt hat, bzw. die Lösung.

Am Ende kam bei mir auch:

Das mag jetzt vielleicht doof klingen,aber hast du vor dem apt-get dist-upgrade erstmal ein apt-get update gemacht?

Genau da siehst du das Problem, update-openoffice-dicts wird nicht gefunden. Eine Suche auf http://packages.debian.org zeigt, dass es im Paket dictionaries-common enthalten ist. Oder besser gesagt sein sollte, im Paket von testing scheint es nämlich zu fehlen. Damit dein upgrade überhaupt erstmal durchläuft könntest du einen link nach /bin/true setzen.

Sieht doch gut aus soweit. So langes Zeug gehört übrigens in NoPaste.
Ändere doch bitte den Titel auf "Probleme beim upgrade von mythes-de-ch in testing (update-openoffice-dicts: not found)" oder so ähnlich
Da du nicht dumm sterben sollst erkläre ich das Problem nochmal etwas ausführlicher.

Debian Pakete enthalten oft postinst, postrm, preinst und prerm-scripte die vor/nach der Installation/Deinstallation ausgeführt werden. In diesem Fall enthält mythes-de-ch ein postinst-script, das update-openoffice-dicts, ein Programm aus dem Paket dictionaries-common, ausführt. Da es dieses Programm aber in der aktuellen Version von dictionaries-common in testing nicht mehr gibt, meldet das postinst-script einen Fehler. dpkg merkt also dass beim Einrichten des Paketes etwas schiefgegangen ist und bricht ab um weiteren Schaden zu vermeiden.

Das Programm /bin/true gibt immer den Fehlercode 0 (alles OK) zurück. Durch setzen des links stellst du also sicher dass der Aufruf von update-openoffice-dicts im postinst-script ohne Fehler durchläuft. Keine besonders saubere Lösung, aber es ging ja vorrangig erstmal darum das upgrade abzuschließen. Es kann sein dass dieser Fehler bei zukünftigen updates wieder auftritt bis die betroffenen Pakete in testing entsprechend angepasst sind. Falls du also nochmal die Meldung "update-openoffice-dicts: not found" siehst weißt du was du tun kannst.
