Problem with Networkcard Accton EN2242

Hi,

I had a well known and much discussed problem with my Gericom 1st Supersonic. It has a integrated Accton EN2242 network card.
It was a real problem to find a driver for this card. But with some help from the internet i found one. The card gets recognized at the startup. It also gets an IRQ assigned, everythings looks alright.
But if i try to ping another PC in the network, i'll get a time out.

It would be nice if anyone could help me,

Try "ifconfig" (as root) in order to check if your card is configured correctly.
What is the output?

the output of ifconfig looks normal, there are the right ip-adresses in there.

Check your routing table.
What is the output of route?

The output of route is also ok, the ip-adresses are the right ones.

In a message of the tulip - message - archive i have read, that there possibly are problems with a IRQ - table.
