Hallo,
ich möchte bei meinem Notebook ( Asus 3500D ) hin und wieder das Touchpad (Synaptics) an- und abschalten ohne den X-Server komplett zurücksetzen zu müssen. Gibt es da eine Lösung oder was kann man da machen?

Hmm diese beiden Tools funktionieren bei mir leider nicht. Wenn ich syndaemon & aufrufe bekomme ich zwar immer eine Meldung disabled oder enabled je nachdem ob ich die Tastatur benutzte oder nicht. Das Touchpad bleibt aber in jedem Fall aktiv und reagiert auf meine Berührung.

Ganz wichtige Frage: läuft das ganze auch mit dem 2.6er Kernel?
