Für mich klingt das aber zunächst mal nach Graphik/Maus/Tastaur-Treiber (Spice) und Festplattentreiber (VirtIO).

Man muß halt versuchen, im Windwos Gerätemanager die Fragezeichen wegzubekommen Was ich dazu alles gebraucht habe, weiß ich jetzt auch nicht mehr.

Nutzt Du weiterhin KVM Qemu anstelle von Virtualbox?

VirtualBox nutze ich schon ewig nicht mehr. Die letzte VB-Installation war, so weit ich mich noch erinnere, noch unter Lenny. Im Moment nutze ich KVM/Qemu für Wegwerfmaschinen, auf denen ich Installationstests durchführe,bevor sie auf der Produktivkiste landen.

Eine Win10-VM habe ich auch irgendwo rumlilegen. Die wird alle paar Monate mal hochgefahren, um Updates einzuspielen

So wie ich das sehe benötige ich nur:
spice-guest-tools-latest.exe ca. 9 MB.
Installiert dann 128 MB groß, SPICE Guest Tools 0.141.


Wofür wird das Iso virtio-win-0.1.229.iso ca. 500 MB benötigt?
Darin sind unter anderem Virtio win guest tools ca. 31 MB enthalten.
Installiert 104 MB, Virtio-win-guest-tools 0.1.29.

When running as Local System, the guest tools installer can be deployed non-interactively (silent install) using the /S switch (case sensitive). Running as System is required so Windows doesn't prompt for driver approval. For example: spice-guest-tools-latest.exe /S
