Ist das eine Partition "Linux Raid autodetect"?

In allen gefundenen Howtos zum erstellen eines RAID 1 Systems steht man solle die Partition mit "Linux Raid autodetect" Dateisystem einrichten.
Bei meinem FDISK steht dies nicht zur Verfügung! Oder wurde das in "Linux RAID" umgetauft?

Also vorneweg bin ich davon überzeugt, dass das der gewünschte Partitionstyp ist.
Ich behaupte jetzt einmal, dass unterschiedliche Programme nicht unbedingt genau gleich lautende Namen für die Partitionstypen verwenden.

und es ist nicht der Name eines Dateisystems sondern der eines Partitionstyps. Der Partitionstyp soll einen Hinweis darauf geben, was die Partition beinhaltet.

Einigermaßen eindeutig wird es erst mit den Partitionstypen (statt deren Namen). Der für ein Linux Raid, ob nun mit oder ohne autodetect im Namen, ist fd(00). Bei fdisk weiß ich es nicht, aber Debiangdisk würde den direkt anzeigen und zur Wahl stellen.

Hi smutbert,

gparted zeigt nicht einmal die Partitionstype an, sondern nur die Type der Partitionstabelle "gpt"!

gparted mag ich nicht besonders und kenne es daher auch nicht sehr gut, aber das ist insofern ein Sonderfall, weil gpartet nicht nur die Partitionierung sondern auch die Formatierung übernimmt.

Vielleicht war die Formulierung in den Howtos auch mißverständlich?
Der passende Partitionstyp sorgt dafür, dass das raid, auch wenn es vorher unbekannt war automatisch erkannt wird.

Auf anderen Parittionstypen könntest du genauso ein raid einrichten, aber dort sucht das System nicht automatisch danach.
