Festplatte bindet sich nach PC-Start nicht mehr automatisch ein

Liebe Debianfreunde,

seit gestern bindet sich meine Datenfestplatte nicht mehr automatisch in das System ein. Beim Systemstart rauschen jede Menge Fehlermeldungen an meinem Auge vorbei. Ich will natürlich wieder auf meine Daten zugreifen.

Was kann ich tun?

1. Nachschauen, ob deine USB-Platte überhaupt vom System erkannt wird:

2. Wenn dort die Platte auftaucht, schauen, ob die Partitionstabelle (noch) OK ist:

3. Angaben zum System machen:

Debianversion?
Dateisystem auf der USB-Platte? (FAT? NTFS? EXT3? EXT4?...)

Und daß dein boot.log schon mit "/dev/sda1: recovering journal" anfängt, zeigt, daß deine Kiste nicht sauber runtergefahren ist. Da ist wohl mal der Strom ausgefallen oder das System wurde hart ausgeschaltet. Wahrscheinlich ist "nur" das Dateisystem auf deiner externen Platte kaputt und muß repariert werden.

Kannst du mit lsusb (Sorry für den Schreibfehler oben) etwas sehen?

Auf den ersten Blick würde ich auf USB-Probleme tippen. Ob der USB-Anschluß im externen Gehäuse defekt ist oder die Mainboardanschlüsse kann ich dir von hier natürlich nicht sagen. Die Mainboardanschlüsse könntest du aber z.B. mit einem USB-Stick prüfen. Du könntest auch mal die USB-Platte an einen anderen Rechner anschließen.

Wenn da wirklich ein USB-Problem vorliegt, kannst du versuchen, die Platte aus dem Gehäuse zu nehmen. Das sind normalerweise SATA-Platten, die an einer SATA-zu-USB-Platine hängen. Die Platte kannst du dann an einem SATA-Anschluß betreiben, um zumindest mal die Daten zu retten.

Die Verbatim gilt allerdings nicht. Die dient gerade der Datensicherung. Meine Datenplatte sehe ich dort aber nicht.

Freilich habe ich vergessen, ein wichtiges Detail mitzuteilen. Nach dem Start des PCs kriege ich erst einmal einen Kilometer Fehlermeldungen. Die Meldungen huschen rasch über den Bildschirm. Leider weiß ich nicht, welches Logfile ich angucken muss, damit ich die Fehler studieren kann. Ich glaube beim Start aber IRQ auf dem Bildschirm gelesen zu haben, das klingt nach irgendetwas. Vielleicht ist doch am System etwas.

Die Bootmeldungen kannst du dir normalerweise mit dem Befehl dmesg ansehen.

Aber, daß du mit lsusb nichts siehst, ist kein gutes Zeichen.

Was für ein Wahnsinn. Jetzt nur noch eine Frage: Mainboard-Fehler und daher Bios updaten? Oder eher Harddisk-Fehler und darum ausbauen, sichern und austauschen?

seit gestern bindet sich meine Datenfestplatte nicht mehr automatisch in das System ein. Beim Systemstart rauschen jede Menge Fehlermeldungen an meinem Auge vorbei. Ich will natürlich wieder auf meine Daten zugreifen.

Noch mal die Frage:
Was hast du für ein System ---> inxi -.F ?
War da Update vorher (z.B. Kernel)
Wo hast du die Zeile aus der fstab her ?
USB- Laufwerke brauchen nicht in die fstab, da sie seit Jahren normaler weise automatisch nach /media/user/ gemountet werden.

Kann natürlich sein, das an deinem Board was zerschossen ist Dann brauchen wir nicht weitere Infos

Ich hab die aktuelle Debian LTS Gnome, nix spezielles. Zwei Festplatten an Bord, eine SSD mit dem System und eine Datendisk. Ein Kernelupdate hab ich selbstständig nicht gemacht, nur ein ACPI-Fehler kam ständig (aber das haben ja andere auch).

Beim Einschalten heute kamen die Kilometer ERR-Meldungen und seitdem kann ich die Datendisk nicht mehr einbinden. Gestern war alles ok. Keine Updates gestern eingespielt. That's all. Nix selbstgestrickt. Das einzige, was speziell ist, ist dass ich den VMWare Workstation Player verwende und Windows für Grafikanwendungen emuliere. Aber auch das machen andere auch.

Sagt mir, was ich eurer Meinung nach tun soll.

P.S. Ich sitze grad an der Kiste. Ich kann also ins Internet und mailen. Auch die Systemplatte hat nix.

Das Auskommentieren der Festplatte in der fstab brachte nix. Nach Neustart wie gehabt kilometerweise Fehlermeldungen und keine eingebundene Festplatte, auf die ich zugreifen könnte.

Stopp, bevor du weiterschreibst. Ich lese mir deine anderen Antworten noch durch und mach, was du mir sagst.
