dragon gwenview Video ruckelt

Hallo!
Bei mir gibt es folgendes Problem. Leider kann ich keine Videos unter Dragon und gwenview ruckelfrei abspielen, die ich mit meiner Handykamera aufgenommen habe. Das Format ist *.mp4. Eine Anfangssequenz von vielleicht 1sec kann man sehen, danach bleibt das Bild eingefroren und nur noch der Ton ist hörbar. Nun habe ich alte VHS-Kassetten ins MPEG2-Format digitalisieren lassen. Diese Dateien kann ich flüssig in Ton und Bild in Dragon abspielen.
Fehlt mir für *.mp4 ein Codec? Muss ich ein Paket nachinstallieren? Oder ist mein Rechner zu alt (lenovo T61)? Da ich mich im Bereich Video unter Linux gar nicht auskenne, habe ich mal meine installierten Paket aufgelistet. Siehe: pastebin/?mode=view&s=41461

Dann ist dein Rechner schlicht zu lahm.

Nun habe ich alte VHS-Kassetten ins MPEG2-Format digitalisieren lassen. Diese Dateien kann ich flüssig in Ton und Bild in Dragon abspielen.

Nunja, MP2 in Standardauflösung hat schon ein Pentium-III/500 vor 23 Jahren ruckelfrei abgespielt. Dein Handyfilmchen kommt aber mindestens in FullHD oder gar in 4K Auflösung und da wird es mit deiner Antiquität problematisch.

Fehlt mir für *.mp4 ein Codec?

Wenn der fehlen würde, würde der Film nicht angespielt werden. Da käme sofort eine Meldung, daß das Videoformat nicht unterstützt ist.

Oder ist mein Rechner zu alt (lenovo T61)?

In dem Modell stecken Core2-Duo CPUs mit 1.4 bis 2.6GHz Takt. Wenn es das Spitzenmodell mit 2.6GHz ist, sollte FullHD gerade noch gehen, 4K halte ich bei dem alten Ding für aussichtslos. Also schau erstmal nach, wie hoch die Auflösung des Films ist und stelle ggfls. eine geringere Auflösung am Handy ein.

Danke für die Rückantwort. Jetzt habe ich die Handyauflösung auf VGA (640x480) eingestellt. Beim Abspielen immer noch das Gleich. Ich kann den ersten Frame(?) sehen. Dann bleibt es eingefroren, der Ton läuft weiter. Hier mal die Fehlermeldung bei der Ausgabe. Vielleicht kann man da etwas erkennen, was nicht stimmt. Ist dies vielleicht wichtig: vdpau_avcodec generic error: Xlib is required for VDPAU

Ich habe jetzt gwenview mal mit einem FullHD MP4 Film ausprobiert. Normalerweise nutze ich VLC. Im Vergleich zu VLC verursacht gwenview auf meiner Hardware 50-100% mehr Last.

Meine Hardware ist aber um einiges schneller als dein Core2-Duo. Ich habe hier einen i3-7100, der mit VLC so um die 40% CPU-Last liegt. Mit gwenview liege ich durchweg über 60% mit Spitzen bis zu 100% und auch der maximale CPU-Takt von 3.9GHz wird dabei regelmässig erreicht.

Ich würde dir vorschlagen, es mal mit VLC zu probieren, das scheint mit deutlich effizienter zu sein.

Habe VLC installiert. Meine vorher gemachte Aussage zu VGA muss ich revidieren. Ich hatte an der Kamera etwas falsch eingestellt. Jetzt habe ich die Tests wiederholt. Von VGA (640x480) bis FHD (1920x1080) kann ich nun ruckelfrei alles abspielen. Bei QHD (2560*1440) sind ab und zu ein paar Ruckler drin. Bei UHD (3840*2160) geht gar nichts mehr. Also liegt es am Alter des Laptops, nicht an einem fehlenden Codec.
