Meine neue Festplatte wird von smartmontools in Jessie noch nicht voll unterstützt.

da ich hier ein Hitze-Problem mit meinem Notebook habe wäre es schon schön das ich von smartd-runner gewarnt werden würde, da das Notebook sonst Notabschaltung macht.

https://www.smartmontools.org/ticket/825 die habe ich. Ich hab mir den aktuellsten tarball von sourceforge geholt. Configure gibt mir folgende Warnung

Was ist das. Ich denke das ich das nicht für meine Platte brauche, soweit ich verstanden habe. Kann ich also deaktivieren. Oder?

Ich würde das ./configure entsprechend mit --without-nvme-devicescan laufen lassen, make, checkinstall und dann testen. Gehts, is gut, wenn nicht halt with-nvme... probieren. Versuch macht kluch

Aber ich kann oh wunder über nc jetzt die Temperatur überwachen. das ging vorher nicht.
