Hallo
Habe in meiner Laborumgebung folgendes Netzwerk aufgesetzt:

Es handelt sich hierbei um Debian Jessie 8.
Nun möchte ich beispieslweise von Host D nach Host A pingen.
Als Antwort erhalte ich jedoch ein "Packet filtered".
Auf beiden Hosts habe ich mit den iptables versucht den Request und Reply zu akzeptieren:
Allow Ping from Inside to Outside:
iptables -A OUTPUT -p icmp --icmp-type echo-request -j ACCEPT
iptables -A INPUT -p icmp --icmp-type echo-reply -j ACCEPT
Allow Ping from Outside to Inside:
iptables -A INPUT -p icmp --icmp-type echo-request -j ACCEPT
iptables -A OUTPUT -p icmp --icmp-type echo-reply -j ACCEPT
Die Firewall ist inaktiv.
IP Forward ist auf 1.
Was muss ich noch tun?
