Wlan AP + DHCP einrichten

Nachdem Ihr mir hier schon geholfen habt, meine Asus PCE-AC88 unter OMV4 in Betrieb zu nehmen, kommt jetzt Schritt 2:

Einen Wlan AP mit DHCP Server einzurichten.

Momentan sieht es so aus:

LTE-Modem zu Wlan Router mit DHCP Server zu den Clienten=Wlan + Lan

Das LTE Modem hat die feste IP: 192.168.0.2
Der Wlan Router: 192.168.0.1 im Router habe ich das Modem Als Gateway und DNS eingetragen und das läuft.

Am Ende soll es so aussehen:

LTE-Modem zu Server zu den Clients= Wlan+Lan.

Dabei soll das Modem weiterhin die IP:192.168.0.2 behalten. Der Server soll dann die fixe IP: 192.168.0.1 bekommen und der Wlan Router geht.
Unter OMV4 werd ich ja nur von DHCP auf manuell ändern müssen und die IP: 192.168.0.1 eintragen
Netzmaske ist: 255.255.255.0

Die Wlan Karte unterstützt den AP Modus.

Hostapd und dnsmasq

Habe im Internet Anleitungen gefunden, da wird aber immer nur beschrieben, wie man den DHCP-Server für Wlan einrichtet, aber nicht zusammen mit Lan.

Richtig, und für beides gibt es gute Anleitungen aus der Raspberry-PI-Ecke, die den Raspi gerne mit Hostapd als WLAN-AP verwenden.

Da wird der Ehternetport und das WLAN zu eine Bridge zusammengefaßt, was meiner Meinung nach den unproblematischsten Betrieb darstellt.

Die Frage ist also, ob du wirklich einen DHCP-Server brauchst. Dein WLAN-Router sollte doch DHCP bereits jetzt zur Verfügung stellen. Den kannst du ohne zusätzliche Konfiguration einfach weiternutzen.

Ja, dhcp sollte schon sein.

Hab die Anleitung getestet, dass klappt nicht.

Es ist aber schon normal, dass mwine wlan Karte: wls2 heißt?
Es ist immer von wlan0 geschrieben, das habe ich vorher immer in wls2 geändert

Leider haben sich die Namen der Netzwerkschnittstellen seit Debian 9 geändert. Man verwendet jetzt sogenannte "predictable Network Names", die allerdings nicht wirklich vorhersehbar sind.

Wie genau deine Schnittstelle nun heißt, kann ich also nicht sagen, etwas, das mit wl anfängt ist aber sehr wahrscheinlich dein WLAN. Das Ethernet fängt noprmalerweise jetzt mit en an. Mit

ifconfig -a
soltlest du alle auf dem System vorhanden Netzwerkschnittstellen angezeigt bekommen. Schau also lieber nochmal nach, ob dein WLAN wirklich nur wls2 heißt.
Es ist immer von wlan0 geschrieben, das habe ich vorher immer in wls2 geändert
Richtg, das muß angepaßt werden, und ebenso alles, was eth0 heißt.

"es" ist ein bißchen vage. :wink:

Du willst hostapd und dnsmasq installieren und konfigurieren. Das sind schonmal zwei unabhängige Programme, die man auch eins nach dem anderen angehen sollte.

Mit was hat du jetzt angefangen, wie sehen die Config-Dateien aus, die du erstellt hast?
Wie lauten die Fehlermeldungen?
Was sagen die Systemlogs (dmesg, und journalctl)?

Ich werde mich wohl doch erstmal nur auf den reinen AP beschränken. Der alte Router macht erstmal weiter den DHCP-Server.
Komme aber ntrotzdem nicht weiter.

Hallo,

du könntest in der hostapd.conf das "driver=nl80211" durch "ieee80211n=1" ersetzen.
Ich verstehe nicht warum du hier

sudo nano /etc/dhcpcd.conf

denyinterfaces wlan0 (die Datei ist ansonsten leer)
das "wlan0" nicht genauso behandelst, wie alle anderen "wlan0".

Bitte stelle längere Codeausgaben, wie z.B. von dmesg in unser NoPaste. Auch andere Ausgaben auf der Shell solltest du hier in CodeTags setzen ( </> ).

Du hättest übrigens aus von dir verlinkten Webseiten erfahren können, dass es für den Betrieb eines AP besser ist einen hostapd zu kompilieren, als den aus den Paketquellen zu verwenden.

Habe es in der hostapd.conf geändert ohne Erfolg. In der dhcpcd.conf steht es mit wls2, datte das für hier nur aus der Anleitung kopiert und hier nicht gändert

entscheidend ist doch die Ausgabe von diesem Befehl ( den du scheinbar verwendest, s.o.):

Ich verstehe zwar nicht warum du als root das sudo verwendest, aber ein "-v" könnte die Ausgabe noch genauer machen.
Die Ausgabe bitte nach NoPaste.

Bevor du dich damit beschäftigst, wolltest du dein WLAN überhaupt mal zum Laufen bringen. Die dmesg-Ausgabe zeigt nämlich, daß die Firmware für deine WLAN-Karte nicht geladen werden konnte. Ohne funktionierende WLAN-Karte gibt es auch keinen funktionierenden hostapd. Auch der Name der WLAN-Schnittstelle (wls2) kommt mir etwas dubios und zu kurz vor, das wird sich aber vermutlich ändern, sobald du die richtige Firmware installiert hast.

Hab den Befehl:

apt-get install firmware-brcm80211

eingegeben, da sagt es mir: firmware-brcm80211 ist schon die neueste Version (20180825+dfsg-1~bpo9+1).

Ich habe aber auch langsam so das Gefühl, dass da was mit den Treiber immer noch nicht stimmt.
So schwer kann das mit hostapd nicht sein, in den ganzen Anleitungen steht immer das gleiche mit minimalen Unterschieden.

Hallo,

ich hatte es geschrieben, aber du hast es nicht gelesen (oder du hast es gelesen, aber nicht verstanden), in dem Paket Debianfirmware-brcm80211 ist die Firmware für dein Gerät nicht enthalten.
Deshalb hast du ja eine andere Firmware heruntergeladen und verwendest diese (hoffentlich).
Ja, hostapd wird immer gleich konfiguriert, nämlich richtig. Den großen Unterschied machen hier die Anzahl der verschiedenen WLAN-Geräte, deren unterschiedliche Fähigkeiten als AP zu funktionieren und die erforderliche Unterstützung in dem jeweiligen Modul und der dazugehörigen Firmware.

Du solltest strukturiert arbeiten und nicht immer wieder Dinge probieren, die du irgendwo siehst. Wenn hostapd nicht so "schwer" sein kann, hast du deine Konfig doch sicher im Blick.

Du meinst die brcmfmac4366c-pcie.bin? Ja, die habe ich nach lib/firmware/brcm/ kopiert. Muss man da noch was machen auser neustart? Danach wurde sie ja als wls2 erkannt

ist das Gerät wls2 vorhanden, teste die AP-Fähigkeit:

# iw list | grep AP$
Es sollte die Ausgabe "* AP" erscheinen.
Dann starte den hostapd mit:

# /usr/sbin/hostapd -v /etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf
Du kannst mit Strg-C abbrechen und die Ausgabe nach NoPaste stellen.

brcmfmac4366c-pcie.txt und brcmfmac4366c-pcie.clm_blob konnten nicht geladen werden, was nicht nur, wie erwähnt in einer limitierten Auswahl an WLAN-Kanälen resultieren könnte, sondern z.B. auch den AP-Modus ausser Kraft setzen könnte.

Immerhion steht dort dann auch, daß die WLAN-Schnittstelle wls2 heißt, zumindest mit dem Firmwarefragment, das im Moment genutzt wird.

Hallo,

ich hatte mir schon gedacht, das diese (berechtigte) Frage kommt. Es ist leider mal wieder etwas komplizierter, was das Laden der Firmware betrifft, speziell der "user_helper". Die Logausgaben sind somit nicht immer schlüssig, wie auch hier diskutiert wird [1].
Wenn das Gerät im weitesten Sinne tut was es soll, kann man diese ignorieren.

Hab grad nochmal alles von Anfang an gemacht, aber diesmal mit einem alten Edimax ew-7811un.

Das hat auch auf Anhieb geklappt, Der AP war zu sehen, aber ich konnte mich nicht verbinden, da das Passwort nicht akzeptiert wurde, obwohl es richtig war. Nach einem Reboot des Servers, konnte ich mich gar nicht mehr mit dem Server verbinden, weder über Lan noch Wlan. Da half nur noch omv-firstaid und die Lan Schnittstelle zurück zu setzen.

Antworten
