Cups WebInterface startet nicht

Hallo Forum,

An einem Debian-Stretch-System soll jetzt erstmals ein Drucker betrieben werden. U.a. die Pakete "cups", "cups-client" und "cups-pdf" sind installiert. Bei einem Aufruf http://localhost:631 wird das WenInterface nicht angezeigt. Stattdessen der Hinweis "Diese WebSite ist nicht erreichbar.

Die Auszüge aus den Log-Dateien zeigen mir jedoch, dass "cups" dennoch irgendwie reagiert.

Wie bekomme ich "cups" zum Laufen? Ich freue mich über eure Hinweise.

Läuft da cups eventuell 2 mal ?

Mal mit htop, ps oder was auch immer cupsd beenden und neu starten. Wie das mit systemd geht - keine Ahnung habe noch sysv_init

ich hänge mich da mal mit ran, da ich das gleiche Problem habe.

Allerdings habe ich noch Jessie (8.11)

In der /var/log/cups/error_log steht auch
W [22/Jul/2018:10:48:41 +0200] Duplicate listen address "/var/run/cups/cups.sock" ignored.
Unter root lief:
root 633 0.0 0.0 71716 5136 ? Ss Jul21 0:03 /usr/sbin/cups-browsed

Gibt es eine Lösung für dieses Problem

Natürlich, daß ich beim Aufrufen von https://localhost:631 ebenfalls die Fehlermeldung bekomme, daß die Webseite nicht erreichbar ist.

Den doppelten Listen-Eintrag kannst Du wahrscheinlich einmal rausnehmen, dann sollte zumindest diese Meldung weg sein.
Im Log hast Du diverse "Unknown directive"-Einträge, mach nen Backup von deiner Config und wirf dann mal alles raus, was im Log als unbekannt angekreidet wird. Warum die da auftauchen kann unterschiedliche Ursachen haben (Suchmaschine bringt nen paar Treffer, kannst ja mal selbst suchen, obs ne offensichtliche Lösung gibt), ich rate mal: Die Config war für ne andere Cupsversion bestimmt, daher kennt er die nicht (mehr), oder es fehlen irgendwelche Erweiterungen und deswegen sind die dazugehörenden Einträge unbekannt. Ich würds erstmal rausnehmen, schauen, obs dann tut und falls Du doch was davon behalten willst, dann erst versuchen es wieder schrittweise zu aktiviren.

Morgen, ich hatte mich da mal ebenfalls gerade durchgekämpft. Was mir bisher auffiel, ist die Tatsache, dass cups gerne mal doppelte Einträge in der cupsd.conf anlegt.

Schau mal, ob dir diese Reihenfolge etwas bringt.

cupsctl --remote-admin

und in der cups.conf folgendes austauschen:

Cups lässt sich wieder über http://localhost:631/ starten und das Drucken funktioniert auch wieder

Lösung war

cupsctl --remote-admin und

Code: Alles auswählen

JobPrivateAccess default
JobPrivateValues default
SubscriptionPrivateAccess default
SubscriptionPrivateValues default
zu löschen.

Jetzt muß ich nur noch Simple Scan wieder überreden zu scannen.
