nfs time out & permission denied

URGENT HELP NEEDED

Got a big problem in a debian server. Unluckily it´s a SERVER for an entertainment park. One of the clients crashed because of heat. Since then I can´t mount into the server with nfs. Even worse I can´t say why the second client also can´t mount the server.

Statements from the clients: time out
Statements from the server: permission denied

I can ping, I can open ssh. Does anybody know how to establish a connection? I willing to send all messages via mail e.g. as well as all files e.g. fstab, exports, ifconfig, portmap etc.

Have you alread tried to restart the nfs daemon?

Yes I´ve done that. Inbetween I´ve also started an nfsd on the newly setup client of mine and there I can mount everything just perfectly.

So I don´t know how to serve the problem.

Would you mind me posting all files or sending them to you?

Do you use the NFS Kernel-Server or the Userland-Server? Find it out by running "dpkg --get-selections|grep nfs". Is the nfs Module loaded if you´re using the Kernel-Server? Try loading it by running "insmod nfs".

Could you upload the config- and log-files (e.g. /etc/exports, /var/log/syslog) onto a webserver and post the URL?

Sorry to keep you waiting....

But I´v e killed SuSE because she only caused my nerves. Now I´ve set up everything with DEBIAN and somehow the connections aren´t a problem at all.

The Problem I have now is rather a compiling one. For using pd and the graphics library gem I need a lot of compilation and configuration and unluckily the program tells me:

... can´t locate gl.h and glu.h which seem to be in a gltt Package but this one stops with ... no such file at the freetype font libraries and headers.

What ever if any Ideas THANK YOU, if not I do understand you, because this is giving me hell of a time.
