[gelöst] ProFTPD kein Login möglich - Fehler 530

Hallo zusammen,

ich habe kürzlich auf meinem HP Microserver Gen8. die Debian Version 9 installiert.
Zuvor hatte ich immer Openmediavault genutzt, aber wollte jetzt irgendwie unabhängiger sein.

Leider komme ich seit Tagen mit dem PROFTPD nicht zusammen.
Muss dazu sagen, um mir die "Konfiguration" zu erleichtern, habe ich mir die wichtigsten Dateien von OMV gespeichert um eine "Vorlage" zu haben.
Habe die Configs jedoch nicht 1 zu 1 ausgetauscht!

Ich habe gefühlt ganz google durch und alles mögliche probiert, aber ich finde keine Lösung.
Beim versuch mich mit meinem User per FTP anzumelden, bekomme ich immer den Fehler 530.
[Testweise mit ROOT versucht = kein Problem]

Habe gedacht ich müsse dem User eine Gruppe zuordnen... vergebens nach einer FTP Gruppe gesucht.
Gruppe angelegt, zugewiesen, kein Erfolg.

Habe jetzt eine config "ftpd.passwd" angelegt und per Terminal einen User geadded, jedoch auch diese Methode brachte keine Abhilfe.

[Überwiegend hab ich die Einstellungen über WEBMIN durchgeführt, oder aber in der Confdatei selbst]

Ich hoffe Ihr könnte mir weiterhelfen, sonst muss ich dem Ding eine Kopfnuss geben :-)

Warum glaubst du, daß dich OMV abhängig macht?

OMV ist ein waschechtes Debian, bei dem lediglich diei WebGUI zur Verwaltung nicht von Debian kommt und auf ein eigenes externes Repository verweist.

Wenn du mit der manuellen Konfiguration von Diensten nicht zurecht kommst, wäre es wohl das klügste, wieder OMV zu verwenden. :wink:

Vielleicht falsch ausgedrückt.
Abhängig bin ich davon natürlich nicht und das OMV auf Debian basiert ist mir auch bewusst.

Weil es jetzt mit einer Konfiguration klemmt, gleich alles einstellen und zurück rudern?! Warum?!
Ist es verwerflich sich "alte" Konfigurationen an zu schauen, um daraus zu lernen / verstehen, wie das ganze tickt?!

Es lag an dem User selbst... Hab mir die User mal mit Webmin angeguckt und verglichen und dabei festgestellt, dass ein haken beim Kennwort falsch bzw. anders gesetzt war
