mounten per ftp

geht das überhaupt?
also:
wenn ich ne standleitung hätte - würde ich meinen verzeichnis bei meinem web-space-anbieter mit einmounten wollen. geht das per ftp ?

Wenn Du mal bei google suchst wirst Du einen ftpfs Kernel-Patch finden. Jedenfalls gab es mal so was früher. Mit autofs könntest Du dann auch die Verbindung nur im Bedarfsfall herstellen, da die meisten ftp-Server ja auch einen idle time out haben.
Aber so insgesamt erscheint es mir als relativ sinnlos - bzw den Aufwand nicht wirklich wert.

ich merk schon - du bist auf meine fragen manchmal nicht gut zu sprechen

der aufwand lohnt sich schon - das ganze soll eine automatisiert werden, da die webseite fast täglich geändert werden soll. und da dachte ich an diese möglichkeit
einmounten, datenabgleich, ausmounten
