printing with CUPS and SAMBA - i really need help

i have installed cups on my debian box with a epson stylus color 740.
everything works fine, i can print the testpage and manually using lpr.

now, i want to print over the network from win-xp and win-me clients using samba.
i am lost somewhere in the configuration files and would appreciate any help.

i am using swat and i created the PRINTERS tag. after having done so, it automatically added my printer EpsonSC740* to the printers list. still i cannot print on it, windows gives me an error.... i have a file in /var/spool/cups/ though...
