Hat jemand Erfahrungen mit dem package-update-indicator und wie das mit unattended läuft?
Ich verwende Stable mit Mate Desktop.

Dann werden die Abhängigkeiten wohl schon vorhanden sein. Direkte Recommends gibt es kaum mehrrhHeini hat geschrieben:21.01.2021 14:20:40Hab mir das mal in einer VM angesehen, und zwar ohne recommends, und siehe da da wird nur das Paket selber installiert, und nicht die inzwischen 7 anderen recommends.

Es ist kein Bug, sondern das von mir beschriebene Problem:Can you please do the following:
1. make sure packagekit-tools is installed
2. run the following commands:
pkcon get-updates > updates.txt
package-update-indicator --quit
package-update-indicator --debug 2>&1 > pui.txt
3. let the last command run for ca. 70 min, then attach both
updates.txt and pui.txt to bug 928814 by sending it via email to
928814@bugs.debian.org
yes, from the debug log everything seems fine. Not having different
icons for "system-software-update" and "software-update-available" is
indeed a problem. I don't want to supply custom icons because I
think they should follow the users theme so they do not look out of
place in the panel and both XFCE/GNOME- and KDE-based themes already
supply these for their own indicators. So the only solution I can
suggest is to either try to convince the theme author to create a
separate icon for "system-software-update" or to use a different theme
which does not have this problem.

In dem ganz oben von mir verlinkten Thread ist eine Lösung beschrieben.rhHeini hat geschrieben:07.02.2021 17:24:35Hab dann mal den Indicator auf Bullseye in einer VM probiert, tut da auch und dort ist dann ein Kommando zum installieren der Updates hinterlegt. Solange warte ich.
