Guten Tag,
habe derzeit einen Server bei NETCUP gemietet. Kostet mich 6,53 Euro pro Monat. Nun will ich von Tomcat 9 nach Tomcat 10 migrieren. Das ist eine größere Aktion. Plane einen zweiten Server zu mieten, damit ich die Migration geräuschlos durchführen kann. Welche Anbieter außer NETCUP kann man empfehlen? Bin mit NETCUP eigentlich zufrieden. Müßte jetzt aber 9,83 Euro pro Monat investieren um vergleichbare Leistung zu erhalten. Mir geht es hauptsächlich um die 160GB Festplatte, da sich doch schon eine Menge Daten angehäuft haben. Ich finde den NetCup Preis angemesen.....
Hab selber einen Server bei denen und seit 4-5 Jahren keinerlei Probleme.

Ich denke der Preis wird wohl ok sein und wenn du zufrieden bist ...

Du kannst dir aber z.B. noch Contabo anschauen. Aber es gibt bestimmt weitere gute Hoster.

Strato ist recht preisgünstig. Performance ist super, was ich bei dem neu gebuchten Linux-V-Server so gefühlt wahrnehme. (Bei mir ist das der VC6-16 mit 16 GB RAM und 500 GB NVMe SSD).

Danke für den Tipp mit Strato. Habe dort mal geschaut. Es gibt eine 300GB Festplatte für 6 Euro pro Monat.. Auch Debian 12 soll verfügbar sein. Das ist ok.

Habe jetzt bei Strato einen V-Server gemietet. 300 GB SSD für 6 Euro pro Monat.
Die Einrichtung mit Debian 12, Java 17, Tomcat 10 und Postgresql 15 hat gut funktioniert.
Jetzt fängt die Umstellung an.
