Sarge als ntp server für Windows Client konfigurieren

Beitrag von ccc » 10.06.2005 23:14:13

hallo

möchte Sarge als ntp server für Windows Clients konfigurieren.

habe folgendes gemacht:

# apt-get install ntp
# apt-get install ntp-simple ntpdate

anschliessend habe zum /etc/ntp.conf ein paar time server hingefügt:

Code: Alles auswählen

# /etc/ntp.conf, configuration for ntpd

# ntpd will use syslog() if logfile is not defined
#logfile /var/log/ntpd

driftfile /var/lib/ntp/ntp.drift
statsdir /var/log/ntpstats/

statistics loopstats peerstats clockstats
filegen loopstats file loopstats type day enable
filegen peerstats file peerstats type day enable
filegen clockstats file clockstats type day enable

habe das problem gelöst,

indem ich mit webmin unter Extended Internet Services
time port UDP 37 aktiviert habe und:

# /etc/init.d/xinetd restart
Stopping internet superserver: xinetd.
Starting internet superserver: xinetd.

anyway, ein gutes HOWTO, falls jemand braucht...
