CUPS: Parallel Port nicht gefunden

Hallo,
ich habe woody
und habe eigenen kernel gebaut ( 2.4.22) und
habe sogar alles was zu Parallel Port gehört eingebaut ( glaube ich)
was ich vorher nicht hatte
und habe wie beschreiben cups installiert ( und cupsys-client)
Den Druker erkennt er, nur eine Fehlermeldung habe ich

"Unable to open parallel port device file "/dev/unknown-parallel0": No such file or directory"

Kann mir jemand da weiterhelfen?

Eventuell konnte gerade keiner helfen, oder die die helfen konnten hatten gerade keine Zeit.

Kannst ja das nächste mal versuchen, es dem Helfenden etwas einfacher zu machen, indem du solche langen Outputs in Code-Tags[1] einschließt. Das fördert schon mal verdammt die Lesbarkeit.
Desweiteren wäre ein eventuelles kürzen auf des Notwendigste möglich. Ok das geht nur wenn man ungefähr weiß wo der Fehler liegt.

Brauchst dich ja nicht zu entschuldigen, und das mit der Konfig war ja der richtige Ansatzpunkt, da dort ja der Fehler lag. Aber hättest du eventuell alles was mit Netzwerk, Usb, Sound oder sowas was, was definitiv nichts mit dem Parallelport zu tun hat, rausgenommen, hätte es vielleicht jemand beim schnellen überblicken ehr auffallen können, und er hätte dir geantwortet.
