vsftp mit virtuellen Benutzern

Ich habe nach http://viki.brainsware.org/?en/Virtual_ ... al_enabled vsftp auf Debian Wheezy konfiguriert und lokale Benutzer können sich auch verbinden.
Allerdings bekomme ich bei virtuellen Benutzern immer "500 OOPS: cannot locate user entry:tester".
Die vsftpd.log sagt aber

Ich habe es über PAM schon über passwd, MySQL und Berkeley DB versucht, immer mit dem gleichen Ergebnis.
Es muss also woanders dran liegen.
Wie kann ich herausfinden warum das so ist und wie ich es beheben kann?

Hi,

u.a. hat der user @maltris zu einem ähnlich gelagerten Problem einen Blogeintrag geschrieben.
Ich schätze mal die Ursache ist bei Dir die gleiche.
"vsftpd 500 oops wheezy" in einer Suchmaschine Deiner Wahl bringt ein paar zusätzliche Tonnen an Ergebnissen.

Hilft mir leider nicht, habe zum Test auch schon die Version 3.0.2 von Jessie installiert. Gleiches Problem, auch mit dieser Option.
Wodran kann es noch liegen?

Wenn das bei dir nicht geholfen hat, dann poste uns mal bitte deine vsftpd.conf aus /etc/ - vielleicht stimmt da noch etwas anderes nicht.

Also ich habe jetz tmein bestes gegeben deinen Fehler zu reproduzieren. Aber ich packs einfach nicht.

Kannst du auf die virtuellen User nicht verzichten? Der Fehler scheint eher nicht mit meinem (Blogeintrag) vergleichbar zu sein. Ich arbeite immer nur mit lokalen Usern da ich damit auch die PHP-Sessions usw. zusammenhängen habe.

Deine Konfig habe ich durchgeschaut und auch deinen genauen Fehler nochmal gegoogelt. Scheint aber sehr selten zu sein dein Fall. Ich werde mal gucken ob ich da irgendwo mal direkt bei vsftpd fragen kann - interessiert mich nämlich auch. :D

Ich habe auch schon echt viel per Google gesucht und ausprobiert und zwei halbe Tage frustriert versucht das Problem zu lösen. Da es aber auch mit verschiedenen PAM Diensten (passwd, DB4 und MySQL) und strace nicht geklappt hat, habe ich es eben hier im Forum versucht. Vermutlich sollte ich es bei lokalen Benutzern belassen. :(
Falls Du noch etwas herausfinden solltest würde ich mich freuen! :THX:
Virtuelle Benutzer wollte ich aus Sicherheitsgründen und der einfacheren Administration benutzen.
