Vielleicht tut der ja besser, als der test1.

was haben die denn da alles für Bugfixes gemacht ? Hatte großen Ärger mit Softwareraid unter Kernel 2.6.0-test1 .

Lots of small updates and fixes all over the map (diffstat shows a flat
profile, except for the DVB merge, the new wl3501 driver, and the new
sound drivers from Alan).

An example: Alexander Atanasov fixed an UP APIC handling bug, which in
turn explained the IDE problems with irq disabling, and allowed IDE to
be fixed up. Yah!

Alan started doing forward-porting of 2.4.x driver updates, and Andrew is
merging the fixes from his tree. And janitorial cleanups.

Various architectures are congealing: sparc64, ia64, alpha, m68k, ppc32,
v850 and s390 all had updates.

Network (and network driver) fixes, ISDN slowly getting there, ACPI, DVB
and USB updates.

And a number of people worked on (and fixed) SCSI queue handling issues
with the anticipatory scheduler.

Wie läuft denn der Debian kompilierte 2.6er vom FTP Server? Im speziellen wie läuft Alsa (habe Realtek AC97 onboard chip) unter 2.6 ?

schade der Kernel ist ja von den Funktionen her perfekt aber meine Bugs sind noch nicht gefixt wenn ich den Installiere hab ich wieder eine kaputte Partition . Dabei wollt ich das neue VMware-skript für die neuen Kernel antesten werde wohl noch was warten müssen

das macht mir sorgen: "sym53c8xxx wasnt updated to new irq code etc" hmm ich brauche aber diesen Treiber für meinen Desktop... Werde den Kernel lieber auf dem Lap austesten.

Christoph , mus das unbedingt so abgehen mit deiner Bauerei das ist mit zu stressig beim Joi... bauen nebenbei mach ma so wie beschrieben auf http://members.aon.at/wickey/kernel_deb.html und dein SCSI controller geht also zumindest mit dem Bauen es gibt zwar noch immer Probs mit Exoten wie die von Initio aber die Standarttreiber gehen meines Wissens alle schon . Also Kernel bauen zurücklehen und .... Spass haben

stressig hab ichs nicht...

... aber mein sym53c8xxx Controller funktioniert tatsächlich noch nicht.

Am Laptop hörte ich heute zum ersten mal stabilen Sound ohne rüttler und knistern.

Du benötigst außerdem die entsprechenden *-dev Pakete, also libqt-dev bzw. libglib2.0-dev und libgtk2.0-dev.

oder du tippst "make gconfig" ein um mit gtk zu konfigurieren.
