DSl Connecton net stabil
Ich habe die DSL Verb indugn mit pppoeconf konfiguriert. Läuft auch soweiten. Aber manchmal ist die Verbindung einfach weg. Auch wenn ich sie neustarte passiert gar nix. Manchmal sehe ich auch das ppp0 Device mit ifconfig gar nicht und ich habe trotzdem ne Verbindung.
Wie auch immer, die DSL Verbindung bleibt einfach nicht erhalten.

Ich habe jetzt mal das Tool von von roaringpenguin.com angetestet (für die GUI müsste es nen Gnome Applet geben, dann wärs genial). Läuft auch soweiten super, nur das es da warscheinlich die gleichen Probs gibt. Das Programm wählt anscheinen wieder selber ein so das es net auffällt.
An t-error kanns net liegen, der WinXP Rechner hält ja auch durch :)
Entweder isses ein Fehler von mir in der Config oder etwas anderes haut net ganz hin. Ich werde die Sache mal beobachten (und Bericht erstatten :))
Leider kann ich das nur n8's wenn die XP Mühle aus ist und der Owner schläft. Tagsüber kann er Connection Probleme net leiden ...warum auch immer.

Gibt es zufalligerweise irgentwo logs wo ich nachschauen kann?

ist mit
pppoe: send (sendPacket): No buffer space available
pppoe: read (asyncReadFromPPP): Input/output error
pppoe: read (asyncReadFromPPP): Input/output error
überflutet. Was das bedeutet weiss ich leider net, oder ob es überhaupt was zu bedeuten hatt.

Ich habe es jetzt halbwegs raus.
Im Netzwerk läuft nen e-donky Client. Wenn der läuft wird manchmal die Connection gekillt oder lagt einfach bis ich sie neu aufbaue.
Wenn der aus ist dann läuft die Verbindung stabiel.
Der Client baut meines Wissens nach verdammt viele Verbindungen auf- liegt vileicht der der Fehler? Auf jeden Fall liegt es an dem.
Wie sich das beheben lässt weiss ich leider nicht:(.

ich habe auch grade mit Verbindungsproblemen zu kämpfen. Habe ähnliche Symptome und bin im Moment auch etwas ratlos. Könnten diese zwei Zeilen aus der /etc/ppp/peers/dsl-provider von Belang sein?

meine Vermutung ist das die Telekomserver keine echo requests beantworten. Der pppd denkt dann nach drei Versuchen (in diesem Fall) die Verbindung sei tot. Die Requests werden bei inaktiver Verbindung gesendet.
Ich hab bei mir eben mal die Zeilen aus der dsl-provider rausgenommen und schau mal was passiert. Werde nochmal posten wenn das der Fehler war.
