Wer die Statistik liebt und rechenleistung Spenden möchte kann nun mit in das Debian GNU Linux Team joinen und mit den RC5-72 Schlüssel ausrechnen.

Den aktuellen Client für deine Distribution downloaden:

und installieren.

nachdem ersten Start sollte dieses Menu erscheinen.

nun die Emailadresse eingeben damit wird auch gleich ein neuer Benutzer angelegt mit Enter das ganze bestätigen. Soweit ich weiss bekommt ihr dann nach einer weiler die zugangs Daten per email für eure config Seite bei distributed.net der Grund warum ich das nicht mehr genau weiss liegt darin das ich mich vor 2 Jahren oder so angemeldet hatte ;)

und den eintrag auf:

New Setting --> OGR=0,RC5-72

ändern. Damit wird OGR abgeschaltet und wir rechnen nur noch mit RC5-72

nun wieder mit 0 ins Hautpmenu zurück und abspeichern mit - 0 -! jetzt könnt Ihr den Client starten. mit ./dnetc unter Linux/Unix auf den Windows Clients kommt eine Abfrage dazu. Der Linux Client (nicht xBSD) erlaubt es sogar mit ./dnetc -install den Client als Service zu installieren...

-install [...] install the client in /etc[/rc.d]/init.d/

als kurzhilfe ./dnetc --help

ja ich weiss das vor einigen tagen ein debianforum.de team "erstellt" wurde dennoch finde ich es für sinnvoller ein Debian GNU Linux Team "erstellen" denn debianforum bezieht sich auf das Forum und schreckt einige wiederum ab. sorry das sollte keine konkurenz werden ;-) sondern nur eine bessere überlegung.
