dry run failed

Hi, ich habe debian 2.2r5 kernel 2.2.19.
Ich möchte mir Ximan gnome installiern. Nachdem der Installer alle notwendigen Pakete runtergeladen hat kommt die Fehlermeldung: "unable to unpack selected packages: dry run failed"
was ist das?

nutzt du apt oder hast du es mit red-carpet probiert?

Ich weiss es nicht genau, es ist der grafische Installer unter x, der über lynx runtergeladen wird und dann die pakete runterlädt. ich glaube das ist red carpet bin mir aber nich 100% sicher.

Ja, das hört sich nach red carpet an. Lass die Finger davon und nutzte apt.

Such mal nach apt und red carpet hier im Forum. Es wurde mal erklärt, wie das funkioniert mit ximian-gnome und apt.

Ich hab es mit apt versucht wie es auf der Ximian Seite beschrieben ist, aber jetzt habe ich folgende Fehlermeldung:

Jetzt hab ich mal schlau wie ich bin *g* ,gnucash gesaugt und versucht zu installieren. configure sagt mir aber komischerweise das mein gcc nich funktioniert *grmpf*

Aber es muss doch auch gehen ohne das man GnuCash manuell installiert....
